Workday Functional Lead - Hcm, Compensation e Reporting

A leading international industrial group with strong European roots is establishing a Group Business Services hub in Porto. The hub will bring together expertise in selected support activities to serve the Group’s international operations.

Joining the team at this early stage offers the opportunity to help build the hub and shape its processes and ways of working. You will contribute your expertise, take responsibility from the outset and support the development of a service organization within an established industrial group. As the hub develops, there may be opportunities to broaden your responsibilities and develop your skills.

- Coordinate the design and configuration of Core HCM, including employee data, organizational structures, and employee lifecycle processes;

- Develop and manage business processes, approval workflows, validations, and security configurations in Workday;

- Lead the design of advanced compensation programs, merit and bonus cycles, budgeting, and related reporting;

- Collaborate on reporting strategy, dashboard creation, and data validation to ensure reliable and secure analytics;

- Facilitate global workshops, document decisions, and maintain up-to-date documentation;

- Ensure functional testing, UAT support, defect resolution, and post-implementation stabilization;

- Partner with integration, security, finance, payroll, and local HR teams to ensure seamless and integrated processes.

- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent professional experience;

- At least 5 years of experience in Workday functional consulting, configuration, or product management;

- Experience with international Workday HCM implementations;

- Strong knowledge of compensation processes, annual review cycles, and reporting requirements;

- Fluent in English; additional languages are considered an advantage;

- Strong communication and teamwork skills, with the ability to work effectively with information systems and technology.
