Are you a Production Supervisor? We are looking for you!
Join a multinational company where Production Supervisor is responsible for overseeing daily operations on the manufacturing floor to ensure production targets are consistently met or exceeded. This role drives continuous improvement initiatives, ensures compliance with quality and safety standards, and fosters team development through training and mentorship.
O que terás de fazer
- Manage personnel and operations on the manufacturing floor;
- Contribute to production plan adherence to ensure on-time delivery and customer satisfaction;
- Review production schedules and estimate labor hours required for job and project completion;
- Develop and adjust work schedules to meet changing production demands;
- Manage job descriptions and training plans for all direct reports;
- Conduct Performance Development Plans and performance reviews for team members;
- Support shift coordinators and direct reports in analyzing and resolving operational challenges;
- Gather and analyze data; recommend and implement improvements to production methods, equipment performance, and product quality;
- Apply Lean principles to drive process improvements;
- Collaborate with supply chain, warehouse, and materials teams to ensure inventory accuracy;
- Coordinate with cross-functional departments to support production requirements for various projects;
- Partner with Engineering and Support teams to troubleshoot equipment and process-related issues;
- Work closely with Finance to identify and implement adjustments related to work orders, inventory, and improvement opportunities;
- Interpret and enforce company policies and ensure adherence to safety regulations;
- Complete any additional tasks assigned by the direct leader;
- Perform all duties in full compliance with company guidelines.
O que deves garantir
- Bachelor's degree in Industrial Engineering or equivalent;
- English level B1/B2 (based on the Common European Framework of Reference);
- Three or more years of hands-on leadership experience in manufacturing operations;
- Experience working with inventory management systems;
- Experience improving manufacturing operations using Lean and Six Sigma techniques;
- Experience with MES or other system to track and analyze production operations;
- Change facilitation/Lean transformations.
- Computer skills (Microsoft Office Suite, ERP Systems);
- Knowledge of PowerBI or similar.
